Born for the Stage
Katie Castillo has been performing since before she could read a script. Growing up in a household where music was always playing and storytelling was a way of life, she found her voice early — and never stopped using it.
At 23, she brings a rare combination of classical training and raw, instinctive presence to every role. Whether she's inhabiting a Sondheim ingénue or a gritty dramatic lead, Katie's work is defined by specificity, vulnerability, and an unshakeable commitment to truth.
She has trained extensively in musical theatre performance, classical voice, and on-camera technique — building a foundation that lets her move fluidly between stage and screen. Her soprano-to-mezzo range and natural belting ability make her equally at home in the classical canon and contemporary pop-rock musical theatre.
